Wedding Wednesday: Backyard Wedding Ideas

By | May 24th, 2017|Categories: Blog|

When it comes to ideal summer venues, backyard wedding soirees are the epitome of personalization and romantic charm. There are numerous ways to transform a backyard into a beautiful wedding scene. Now that the warm weather is here, we wanted to share some creative backyard wedding ideas from the Bistro Boys team and BRIDES for couples planning on celebrating their big day in the comfort of their backyard.

Create an inviting entry with a welcoming chalkboard sign. Handwritten signs are a simple and personalized way to direct your guests to the ceremony space.

Don’t let the unpredictable Colorado weather ruin the party. Make sure to have backup tents and stock up on umbrellas for rainy weather.

Desserts are a must at any wedding, but for backyard events, we recommend having a unique, outdoor dessert display to catch people’s attention.

With backyard weddings, rustic touches to your table settings and decor add to the outdoor feel.

Food stations are an excellent way to serve your guests when the reception is outdoors. Typically, there’s  enough space to have stations set up throughout the designated outdoor area.

Grab-and-go drink coolers are a fun and easy way for guests to enjoy some refreshments and avoid waiting in long lines.

Keep your guests entertained with outdoor games like giant Jenga or cornhole.

Our team can help create the backyard wedding of your dreams from delicious food stations and BBQ buffets to helping you pick out your rustic decor. To learn more about teaming up with Bistro Boys to create your Colorado wedding visit our Weddings page or contact us today.

Wedding Wednesday: One-of-a-Kind Colorado Wedding at Any Location

By | May 10th, 2017|Categories: Blog|

As an experienced caterer, Bistro Boys understands that brides have a particular vision for their wedding day and our goal is to make that vision a reality.

With that in mind, we wanted to showcase images and menu items from a wedding we catered last July at a private neighborhood park in Morrison. The park only had an electrical outlet and a water spicket on site, so all of the kitchen and catering equipment, including ovens and sinks and tents for that area, were rented and brought in. Although the site was not event-ready, our team was able to make it happen, and the bride had her one-of-a-kind Colorado wedding.

Keep in mind, we can make your event visions come to life at any location you desire.
